From ooi ("numerous", adjective) + sugiru ("exceed", verb): "way too many".
(For size-ref purposes, the coin on top is a quarter. The depth of magatama down to the base of the bowl is about 5". Now I get to soak them in water overnight and remove all the rubber-cement residue from all 2400 tomorrow whee *headdesk* :b )

on 2006-12-24 03:02 am (UTC)At the moment, the bowl is now only half-full with magatama covered with water like breakfast cereal in milk; I've individually un-boogered the other half onto a towel and now will probably have to let the others sit for a while until my fingertips stop feeling sore, what with having infinitesimal bits of skin cumulatively adhere away onto each magatama booger.
This shipment is actually somewhat nicer than the first, smaller one that I got from the same supplier-- the magatama have more three-dimensional depth instead of mostly being flat comma-shaped wafers. Meanwhile, finally got that last wire transfer fired off so a different place can start up my custom factory run. *tentative happy dance*
