Abh personal names

Aha, finally found the detailed explanation I thought I remembered reading a while back. Too bad the licensed material doesn't have an equivalent so far.

And to give an idea of how widely the official versions vary from the literal ones...

Literal: Ablïarsec néïc Dobreuscr Bœrh Parhynr Lamhirh

Novel: Abriel Nei Debrusc, Viscountess of Parhynu Lafiel; or, Abriel Nei Debrusc Borl Paryun Lafiel

Manga: Viscount Abriel Nei Dobrusk Paryunu Lafiel; or, Abriel Nei Dobrusk Viscountess Paryunu Lafiel

(There seem to be some irregularities in Lafiel's name that make it especially difficult to parse, esp. the "nei Debrusc" part which would normally indicate her royal branch of the Imperial family but for some reason doesn't, but it works out to something like "Imperial house Abriel, descendant of King Debrusc; Viscountess of Parhynu, Lafiel.")

And,

Literal: Linn Ssynec Rocr Ïarlucec Dreuc Haïder Ghintec

Novel: Linn Syun-Rock Jarluk Dreu Haider Jinto

Manga: Lin Shun Rock Yalulug Dril Hydal Jinto

(Loose parse: Noble house Linn, descendant of Lord Rock; Heir to the Count of Hyde, Jinto.)

I don't know why this makes me think of the various early spellings of "lightsaber"--"lightsabre", "light saber". The latter brings up the possibility of "medium sabers" (for Jedi jousting) or "heavy sabers" (Grond! Grond!).
