No doubt my judgement has eroded from my continued cold making me both cranky and woozy, but it must be some sort of cosmic joke that two of the most virulent right-wing whackalunettes have surnames which are only slightly removed from extreme sexist slurs. As a plowing implement, a coulter is essentially a technologically advanced hoe; one of the witches in Macbeth had a feline familiar named Greymalkin who was presumably grey and presumably also, well, a cat.
