Hama 2 (Yamaguchirow, IY/Kagome)

Found a fairly good set of scans for "Hama 2"; a preliminary lookthrough definitely makes me wish wot-club's original IY transcriptions/translations were still online-- the immediately obvious colloquialisms (Kagome calling IY "anta"; IY using the very brusque/crude verb "yaru" and converting words that end in "-ai" to "-ee", e.g. dekinai -> dekinee, urusai -> ussee) are at least stuff that I've seen before, but it would've been really nice to have direct, literal access to their canon syntax. (The Wayback Machine does have wot-club archived, but I don't think the internal documents are searchable anymore.)

Unstylized from the archaic "scroll script" on the cover, the "Hama" kanji of the entire doujinshi's title are 破魔 , which this page translates as "demon-destroying".

No visible page numbers? In my scan set, the story begins on [...]06.jpg .

IY has *really* informal speech patterns, verging on rude insults. Aside from the verb "yaru", he also ends a lot of sentences with distinctively male particles like "zo" and "ze", which in Yamaguchi's RK stuff have been mainly limited to Sano's rare (but memorable) appearances. I have no idea offhand how to translate those, though wot-club was fond of scattering various forms of "fuck" through IY's dialogue.

"Saikai" is looking a bit odd... at the bottom of page 26 (according to the page numbers nearly buried inside the spine, as usual), Kaoru says something about wanting to have Kenshin's baby soon, but I don't know yet if she's already pregnant (she doesn't look that way) or if she's just hoping to get that way, or if this means that they're already married by now.

The progress on that (haven't really started yet) is going to look slower from your side, since I'll be going back to the intermediate step of making a handwritten transcription from the paper copy.
