Starting a new entry for the actual transcription/translation. Although the kanji-based title on the front cover should technically be "[Aitou] XX", it's written out on the back cover as "Aito Double X". The transcription went much, much faster than usual, whether because this doujinshi was from another miraculously clear print run or because I've updated my contact lenses or some combination of both.

Usual disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm doing, except for juggling a lot of reference books and web lookups. Please do not convert these into English-language scanslations, or I will be cross.

Format key--

Frame/balloon order is from right to left and from top to bottom. The kana for "tsu" is sometimes used to indicate a glottal stop, as in a sudden gasp or an abrupt break in speech; in those cases, I'll transcribe it as "*" instead.

~KARA~ (the window screen rattling open; "whish")

Kaoru gazes out through the window at the iconic Touji pagoda. They're at an inn somewhere in Kyoto, probably during chapter 251 of the manga in the aftermath of Jinchuu.

~GOOO...N~ (a strong wind blowing through the bamboo; "fwoooosh")

Behind her, Kenshin rests his sakabatou against the wall (~CHIKA*~, "thunk"?). His arms and chest are bandaged, and his right arm is in a sling.

~ha... | *a... | ha...

#18#

They're still standing by the window. There's a little ~su*...~ sound above her which is either a soft gasp or her head slowly tipping back toward the blinds (~to*, "tok"?).

They've rotated their positions now, and are both sitting on the floor. His back is against the base of the window seat/ledge thing, and she's untying his hakama: ~SHURU | SHURU~

Him:
= [Kaoru... dono]

+++

She gives him a first, delicate lick: ~pichu~

He twitches: ~bikun~

+++

Him:
= N...

Since she's already anointed him with saliva, she distributes it more evenly with her hand (~nyuru~) with a small muffled sound of her own: "n"

#20#

All his equipment seems to be in working order so far. Starting from his main sound-effect and working counterclockwise:
= a* | haa | n* | ha...a

From there, I think the remaining sound-effects are hers; ~jupu~ is probably a "watery" noise related to Oop-Ack's "jururu" (drool), "chapu" (drops of water plunking down) and "shapu" (a more substantial splash). The rest are fairly straightforward: two ~kuchu~ squishy/slurpy noises, a little moan ("n"), a large kissy/suction noise (~chu~), and Kaoru, don't talk with your mouth full ("mu...nn").

+++

The inset panel on the left has more smoochy/slurpy noises (~chu... | juru*~) with a bit of panting/moaning ("n-- | haa...")

+++

As he starts to get used to the idea, he sneaks his left hand behind her and slides up the bottom of her kimono: ~susu*~

There are still some moans:
= a...| haa

And random noises: ~kuchu~ (slurp) | ~pichu~ (lick)

+++

With a firm grip on her naked butt (~gui*~), he hauls himself down/sideways into position #69, surprising her.

He slathers some of her juices around with his fingers, awkwardly left-handed: ~nuru~

Her:

+++

Does he stop? Of course not.
~nutchu | tchu chu | puchu puchu~
[Aggressive slathering, plus some suction noises from his fingers going in and out]

He has an oddly analytical expression, at least on the visible portion of his face.
= koko-wa mou [ho]shigatte'ru yo
- [ho]shigaru: desire/covet
= here[T] already is-wanting [mM]
[For some reason, I'm wibbling about several different interpretations. But I think that if he were speculating about her state of mind, he'd have to use a different verb form, so it's not "From here, it looks like you already want me".]
-- "This is exactly where I want to be"? or maybe fudging the tense to "I've been longing to touch you here again"?

Her:
= ann | yaaa...

+++

Still her: ~doki~ (heartbeat)
= datte...
-- "But..."

#22#

Obediently, he moves away and sits up again (his hair is hanging down toward his chin, rather than back behind him).
= oide...
[This is based on "oide ni naru", an honorific version of "iku" (go) or "kuru" (arrive), so strictly speaking it should translate as "Come here". However, his face looks more like "Please, I need you."]

+++

As he leans against the window base again, she carefully wades astride him on her knees.

Her:
= [Kenshin]... | ...amari [ugo]kanaide ne...
- "ugokanaide" <- polite negative command form of [ugo]ku (move): "please don't move"
-- "Kenshin... | ...please don't move too much, okay?"

Him:
= n...
[Looks too calm to be a moan; condensed down from the informal affirmative "un"? See the next line.]

+++

Him:
= [deki]ru dake ne...
- dekiru: able to do something
[The phrase "dekiru dake" is usually followed by an adverb and another verb, e.g. "dekiru dake hayaku suru" (do something as fast as possible); here, I think the overall structure is flipped and this phrase belongs to Kaoru's previous line. However, the balloon for that had a very wiggly, tense outline and this one is smooth and calm, which probably indicates that Kenshin is speaking.]
-- "All right... | I'll try to keep as still as I can."

[Yeek. This must be like torture for him.]

She reaches for an anchorhold: ~kuchu~

+++

And slowly settles down onto him. There are moans ("a | aaaa"), plus some squishy sounds down below (~nu* nu* | nururu~).

Her:
= ha... [hai]tcha...u...u
- "haitchau" <- "haitte shimau" <- "[hai]ru" (enter): "finally/completely entering"
-- "Y-- you're inside me... nowww..."

#23#

As she leans slightly backward with some minor panting ("haa | haa*") and squishing (~nyu* | nyu* | chu*~ "nuru"), he reaches up to her bare breasts again, even extending his right arm out from its sling with a grabby/tweaky noise (~kyuto*~).

Her:
= ya | aN | [migite]... [tsuka]tcha [dame]...
- "tsukatcha" <- "tsukatte wa" <- "[tsuka]u" (use); in this case, the "-te wa" pattern indicates a conditional clause with a negative outcome: "if you use it, bad things will happen."
= [noises] | right-hand shouldn't-use futile

Him:

+++

He tweaks out one of her nipples (~kui*~) and pops it into his mouth (~chiru*~). She moans: "a*"

+++

While he continues suckling (~ju* ju* | chu chu~), the fingers of his right hand remain active on her other side (~kui kui~).

Her:
= haaN | n... ya... [Kenshin]...

+++

He continues slurping: ~zu* zu*~

Her panting gets louder: ~HAA | HAA~

#24#

She collapses partially backward in a shock of woozles (~bikun~) and random panting/moaning which I'm skipping this time.

+++

Him:
= [kimo]chi ii?
-- "Did that feel good?"

Her:
= un... ii yo... | [Kenshin]-wa?
-- "Yeah... it did... | but what about you?"

[Since there are no verbs to nail the tense down, both lines might also be the ongoing present "Does this feel good?" etc.]

+++

+++

She reaches down to check how he's doing:
~zuru*~ (suction from partial withdrawal)
~nuru--*~ (lots of liquid slathering down)

Not sure who the next line belongs to; the balloon outline is a bit wavery, but so was his first line in the previous panel:
= [nemoto] made... konna-ni... [kata]i yo...
= root/base until... in-this-way... firm/solid [mM]
Him? -- "It makes me... feel hard... all the way down..."

+++

She examines her slathery hand with a hard heart-thump of apprehension: ~TOKIN~
= ...kore... | [atashi]-no?

+++

Right. He's had it with this not-moving crap. He lunges forward (~FU*~) and smooches her...
= n*
-- "Mmh--"

#25#

...then dumps her onto her back as he sits up with a right-handed grip on her knee, reaching out from his sling again: ~gui~

Her:
= ya* | [Kenshin]* [mucha]-shinaide
- "mucha shinaide" <- polite neg. command of "mucha suru" (overexert): "please don't overexert"

+++

From this point, he starts hauling her legs around, gradually rotating her onto her side and then onto her face. Some of the intermediate stages resemble poses I've mostly only seen in shunga (naughty woodcut prints), with one of her knees braced up against his torso as he leans down into her.

~ju*~ (squish)
~su...E~ (the "e" is in hiragana, but has an emphatic dot beside it; maybe sudden movement after a slow, smooth lead-up?)
~zumu*~ (behind his back; an upward jerk of motion? either him rising farther up or pulling her right knee up to her shoulder, I think)

Her:
= DAME* | yaa (an) [kan]jichau... neE

- "ippai": fully, to the limits of capacity
-- "...You're going... all the way... up inside me... Kenshin..."

+++

~zuku zuku~ (vigorous pumping)

IMHO she's wailing too much ("a* | a* a*") to be capable of words right now, so this line must be his:
= sokoo...

+++

~gu* gu*~ (rumpety-pumpety, pressing her flat down to the floor)

Her:
= *hia | aa* (gasping loud moans)

Him:
= haa hi* | a* [Kaoru] | [Kaoru]* | ka-o-ru* | han*

#27#

She has a loud moan here that's written out as "aku*", which I'm guessing is more of a choked cry than a summons for Saitou to show up for some Soku Zan: "aak--"?

Similarly, Kenshin's "*u" is probably a broken grunt: "--unh"?

~DOKU* DOPU*~ (pound, splurt)

+++

As they lie there panting ("ha-- | ha-- | ha--"), his right arm starts to bleed through its bandages.

+++

He pulls her with him into spooning together on their sides (~gyu~), weakly saying her name again: "Ka-o-ru..."

She sees his freshly bloodied bandage but doesn't do anything about it for now. She'll give him hell about it on the next page, though.

#28#

Fashion note: this is one of the few times I can think of when we get to see Kaoru in her kimono-type underwear. Her outer kimono has been taken off somewhere, so now she's just wearing her hadajuban (a white top with a colored collar and sleeves; it fastens with a cloth tape tied around her waist) and susoyoke (wrapped half-slip; it looks slightly lighter than her collar/sleeves). According to some historical claims, the susuyoke was usually dyed red to camouflage menstrual stains, though there are disputing beliefs tha regular menstruation was relatively uncommon in the past, due to nutritional factors. Tomoe's susuyoke looked white back in "A Distant Thunder", though.

The second one usually has a different pronunciation in the words "[ima]da" and "[ma]da", both of which have a general cluster of temporal-limit meanings like "so far, until now, yet". She is flooded with a blush of shame for yelling at him: ~kaa...~

+++

= [hontou]-ni | [atashi] de ii no?
[Hesitating between the fairly literal "Really? | Am I okay?" and the much looser "Are you... | are you really upset with me?"]
[still loosely paraphrasing]
-- "Alone... | ...with me? Really?"

He sits up for a moment and glomps her back down with him: ~gui~

= [Kaoru-dono] to | [issho]-ni [i]tai...
- "issho ni" is a tighter sort of togetherness than "futari de"; instead of just "as a couple", it's "as a single unit".
-- "Kaoru-dono | I want to stay together with you..."

#32#

Her:
= un | ...un
-- "Okay | ...I will."

[Page 33 looks like one long afterword. Nope. Not going near it for now, not even to taunt it with pointy sticks. Oh sure, it's printed rather than handwritten, but... no. Just no.]

Y'know, the thought of a bleeding translation is more than a little disturbing, in a fear-the-apocalypse kind of way.

I LOVE this doujin. And finally, FINALLY you've made it possible for me to understand more of what they're saying. . . thank you, thank you, thank you. . . !

...um, you're welcome?

I have no idea who you are; would you like to introduce yourself? (If not, then, well, not.)

*waves* Hello! Sorry, I've been lurking. I'm not really anonymous, I'm just not very LiveJournal literate. (I don't know how many anonymous people comment? They're not all me, really.)
Anyway, I love Yamaguchirow doujinshi too! She's wonderful, I have a few. . . I have very feebly tried to translate some for myself but always get way too overwhelmed by the kanji, and it's really hard to make sense of a story when you only have the hiragana and katakana to go on (*some* of the kanji are easier to remember than others, and that helps, but. . .). I am always so impressed with your translations, and they're wonderfully useful because you provide helpful and entertaining notes as well; they're so easy to read.
So, thank you!
Oh, and I live in the Bay Area too! ^__^

Howdy.

I'm pretty sure I know who the two other main anonymous commenters are, which is why I was wondering... anyway, pleased to be of (dubious?) service with my translation attempts; I'm cringing at the thought of going back through the main story from "Shinsei" because my older work probably has even larger error margins. Guess I'll have to patch up the missing page(s) at some point, though. ZOMGWTFWJD.

I still don't remember most of the kanji involved, though a few of them have been gradually sinking in-- the extra step of transcribing all of the kanji/kana does seem to help with that. Translating naughty doujinshi certainly results in an... interesting set of vocabulary, though. @_@x;

oh yatta!

hhm,, another RK yamaguchirow translation!

katajikenai, wombat-chan!

wow, chotto matte.... about the whole "i want us to break up quickly." that one was a joke right? i was wondering why kenshin would say something like that... i concluded that he was just teasing kaoru. ^^

well, he did say that he wants to stay together with kaoru. ^^

kenkao forever!

Mmmyeah, there's a bunch of them (http://wombat1138.livejournal.com/tag/translations).

Kenshin does have a very odd sense of humor sometimes, at least via Yamaguchirow; cf. "Himura" and "Kuusou Gendai".

"i want us to break up quickly."
