Random fun

YouTube has clips from the international dubs of various Disney movies; I especially like the ones that are subtitled with both the foreign language lyrics and their re-translations into English. There also seems to be a subgenre of "multilingual" clips that splice together individual lines from many different versions, sometimes sequentially working their way through an entire song, but sometimes instead repeating a short passage for purposes of comaprison, like this scene from The Lion King. (La la la laaaaa.)

Also reasonably pleased with a quick, simple mini-meal I put together from the fridge: dropped some raw carrots and potatoes into our stick-blender's food processor conversion chamber, shredded them, mixed the shreds with some flour and eggs, and pan-fried them into something between a pancake and hash-browns. Need to add more salt next time, though.
