live-action snippets in the RK OVA

I still haven't rewatched Trust/Betrayal recently, but I'm finally remembering to post this minor bit that tends to stick in my brain cell, even though the specific contexts are now a bit hazy for me :b OTOH I've probably burbled about some of this before and forgotten about it anyway :b :b

Stylistically, two of the most jarring "animation" moments in the OVA are what seem to be brief live-action shots of scenery in 1.3: waves rippling onto smooth stones, and flames crackling in a hearth.( Read more... )
