pink pestilence (and geekish knitting)
Jul. 27th, 2007 04:33 pmAfter hearing for ages about Cat Bordhi's Moebius cast-on, I finally checked out one of her books from the library and am deeply (or perhaps shallowly) underwhelmed. Oh sure, the cast-on process itself is easy enough, but imho using the circular needle's cable for the anchor of the provisional/invisible cast-on (which significantly predates Bordhi) makes it *more* difficult to determine the proper half-twist when closing the loop.
But now that I've actually hauled my needles and knitting back out of storage, I have an unnatural urge to knit something violently pink. ( Read more... )
