bento'ed of shape
Dec. 8th, 2005 12:18 amBehold the envy-inducing wonder of this bento photo blog. I've been teetering again on the edge of wanting to buy another bento-box set-- Zojirushi and Thermos/Nissan-Stainless make several different vacuum-insulated kits-- but I already know that I'd probably never use them, judging from the lonely, neglected existence of the four or five uninsulated bento kits already in the pantry. At some point, I did try out some recipes from my bento cookbook, but I couldn't really justify the time it took to make each exquisite set of tiny morsels, since usually I'm such an unfussy eater that (as
jennifer3dtd says about her husband) I'd eat dirt.
(I'm sure I have, too. Since my parents never gave me spare change for vending machines, most of the candy of that sort which I ate during urchinhood was scrounged from the floor where previous purchasers had dropped it. It never gave me any problems that I noticed, other than cavities.)
