Yet another frickin' Friday the 13th. Nothing disastrous has happened yet today, but I figured it was as propitious a time as any to make another (non-)update. I know I keep bogging down on the doujinshi translations, but then again I keep bogging down on, well, everything. My latest fodder for health paranoia is that my blood pressure and resting pulse are much higher than they ought to be, and if they don't go down over the next month, I'll probably get to add yet another medication to my daily pharmaceutical percussion section. None of this yet answers why it's hard for me to stay awake for more than 5-6 hours at a time, but at least I've been referred to a specialty center for the type of sleep study where I get wired up from various angles for observation while I attempt to sleep without getting tangled up in the wires. Or so I imagine, anyway.
Time to lie down again. Oh yeah, and the really annoying part is that I've been advised to cut back on caffeine and salt. There go two of my main food groups right there-- and I probably shouldn't chow down on butter much anymore either. Sigh. Oh well, to make up for it I've probably consumed several ounces of honey this morning. Now it's time to lie down again to get walked on by the cats.
