I dunno, d4 could do some serious projectile damage, not to mention latent use as caltrops.

Think my brief foray back into plagiarism-catching has ended already; after ~500 pp skimmed into DV, I can't stand slogging through any more shallow melodrama larded with Buffy dialogue for a while. OTOH, am probably going to re-read some Tanith Lee again now.
