Well, actually I'm pretty much inured to Shadow-bites; the initial hurdle was not panicking at the sight of his rather scary-looking ears-back eyes-narrowed snapping motion. He doesn't really clamp down his teeth that hard, and hasn't actually broken my skin in ages. But still, I feel oddly wounded by the fact that he gets bitey at all.

Huh. Not to alarm you, but it sounds like he's actually angry when he bites; Isabel (and before her, Thea) never actually bit through my skin--and Thea would suddenly bite my nose all the damn time.

Hijinks ensued.

Hey, as long as they're on an equal footing. Maisie, sadly, has always been the put-uponee when it comes to cat-on-cat aggression. One tries to interfere when one is around, but.
