Because Yamaguchi has written (drawn?) some pretty good, funny stories about main characters (oh, another disturbing pair has just came to me - Sesshoumaru and Rin *creeps* - but I'm not speaking about them). Such as Hama and Hama-2. And hero's appearance is pretty the same as somebody we'd knew, exept the scar and dog ears ^_^

And I've discovered that "Err" has been already translated as well as Jinchu. The translation is rather bad and inaccurate though.
May be you'll change your mind into something less disturbing - Kamiya or Himura for instance *iust a joke*. Or Kuusou? Or Kyouken?
