I would too... if it is, how the heck does she keep it so lush? I mean, dang-- up around the top of her head, which works out to about brastrap-length, her braid still looks amazingly thick, smooth, and glossy; my hair doesn't get much maintenance besides conditioner, but by the time my braid gets to that length, it's only about half that width and sadly whiskery with split ends.
(Not that I really care that much about what my hair is doing as long as it stays out of my way, but I hate getting it cut-- esp. since the last time I was dragged to a beauty parlor to "trim off the ends", they whacked off about 6-8 inches. That was... hmm, good grief... fifteen years ago? I haven't gone back to one since, though I did whack off about the same amount again when my granny died. Supposedly *hers* was once knee-length when she was young, so I should have the genes for it, assuming that's how things work-- male-pattern baldness comes from the maternal side of the family, so why not hair length as well? But mine always stalls out somewhere between wrist/fingertip-length, so maybe it just doesn't want to go any further. Sigh.)
