Ite, Missy est.
Have been having way too much fun chasing the Salahi trainwreck around the web-- it hit the news while I was back inside the Beltway on Thanksgiving weekend, and it's been steadily jawdropping ever since.
While some of the erstwhile Missy Holt's claims have at least a tenuous connection to reality (e.g., "modelling for Chanel" = she worked at the Chanel counter at Nordstrom's), imho one of the more baffling ones is that she was Miss USA (as if that couldn't be checked-- and if Donald Trump says that you're tacky and pretentious, you've got problems).
I wonder if I've found the possible seed for that-- if she grew up in Pennsylvania, as her high school and early adult traces suggest, then her attention might've been especially caught at age 6 in 1971 when the "Miss USA" title was won by a Miss Pennsylvania USA with the first name "Michele".
Semi-alternately, there seems to've been a run from 1986-1992 (when she was 21-27) when the many of the "Miss Pennsylvania" winners came from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, and thus might've been her former classmates or local acquaintances.
...or she could've just decided to make up random crap for no particular reason. *shrug*
